We begin the design process by understanding the site, context and the Client’s requirements in detail. The conceptual design stage takes these factors into consideration as the design is formalized and evolves. The aesthetic, functional and programmatic requirements of the Client is carefully considered in the execution of the detailed design process.
Parallel to the detailed design process, working alongside the PWA Quantity Surveyor’s is essential in ensuring that the designs work within the Client’s budget. PWA’s skilled team of architects and draftspersons then proceed with the construction documentation process. Coordination with all relevant consultants, project administration and management, quality control and execution within cost and time constraints is all part of the construction management process.
At PWA we believe in sustainable design solutions that will have a positive impact on the environment, society and economy. We utilize sustainable initiatives throughout our architectural and interior design, MEP design, supplier sourcing and construction stages to ensure built environments that are livable, comfortable, safe, and productive. We advocate for restoration projects, and retrofitting existing buildings whenever possible, and have worked on several projects with our environmentally conscious clients.
We are committed to serving our community and the environment and undertake voluntary projects that have a positive impact on the community. We provide training opportunities for architectural students and allow them to get hands-on experiences under the guidance of our senior team.
We also collaborate with a variety of local artists when working on the interior design components of projects. This allows us to foster and promote local artists, while simultaneously curating beautiful spaces for our Clients.
